Phil Adams’s Hard To Find Selection:
Sheffield born Phil Adams, who was brought up listening to 80’s indie-pop and electro, turned his hand to DJ’ing twenty years ago, and has since played on a number of occasions. His sets would typically combine various different genres, resulting in a kind of musical meltdown. Having recently moved to London, Phil is now working on his own productions in collaboration with other musicians, alongside booking bands at Rough Trade East.
New Fast Automatic Daffodils – Big (Baka)
I’ve played this Jon De Silva remix out quite a lot over the years.
Fallout – The Morning After (1990 Remix)
I love the original version & this remix really captures the time.
Pop Will Eat Itself – Home (Home Sweet Home Orb Remix)
Orb did so many great remixes……..this is a particular favourite.
My Bloody Valentine – Soon (Weatherall Mix)
Happy memories of sweaty dance floors.
Meat Beat Manifesto – Mindstream (Aphex Twin Remix)
They edited this one down for ’26 Mixes For Cash’ they should’ve kept the long version.
